Kojic Acid Tumeric Wrapping Mask

I bought the tumeric one and the collagen one. The collagen one seems to do nothing for me, but wow!! - the tumeric one is amazing. I've used it probably 5 times now and still have more in the tube, so it's a really good value for the money. I wash my face, dry thoroughly and apply the mask. No toner or moisturizer. It dries pretty quick and stays on all night, even with being a side sleeper (let it dry before you lie on your side). It's easy to pull off in the morning. And once I pull it off, my skin is positively glowing. Not in a greasy way either. My skin looks more even and even my wrinkles are a little smoothed. I will definitely buy this again!

I was hesitant to try a face mask that was initially a gel liquid but would dry and stay on my face, but boy am I glad I tried it. The gel consistency is soft and sort of cooling. You just apply it to your fresh cleansed dry skin about 15 minutes before you lay down. I will say during this drying process I sometimes get itchy around my nose but it dissipates. Then I wake up in the morning and the mask is surprisingly still on. I am a mover in my sleep so this surprised me. Anyways when I go to take the mask off you just start to rub on an area on your face to get the mask to lift. I usually go by my nose. Then you just sort of lift the mask off and it peels away. It does come off in sections and not all at once. I don’t think I get all the mask off so I do use lukewarm water on a washcloth to get the rest off.

I will say after I use the mask I feel my skin is definitely brighter, it has a nice shine. I also notice that my face is a little more moisturized than before.

Now would I buy this mask again, I’m not sure. Still on the fence. It works but I am not 100% committed to using it as I like to use my other skincare like my retinol (maybe I should apply my retinol earlier in the evening and use this later). It’s a good mask though.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a peel-off mask you wear overnight (seemed like a recipe for a pillow mess), but this one is different. My only knock is that peeling it off can be a little tricky, especially around the edges if you didn’t apply an even layer.
Overall, this is a solid addition to my nighttime routine. If you're dealing with uneven tone, dullness, or mild discoloration, I’d say give it a shot.
